A lot of what I do is trust my authors. There is a lot of money that goes into what we do. All of the art that is created, we have to hire a studio to work with the author and developmental editor to develop the art.

There is a long revision process. We hire different professors and pay them to read chapters and give feedback.

That, again, is costly. Then there are photo permissions.
